Principal Lawyer Hayley Hunter formed part of a panel discussion held by the Law Institute of Victoria on Family Violence and Elder Abuse this week.
Together with Eastern Community Legal Centre managing lawyer elder abuse Claire Thurstans and Advocate Team Leader of Seniors Rights Victoria, Jacinta Woehl, the panel discussed the crossover between family violence and elder abuse and tips for assisting those facing elder abuse in navigating both the Guardianship and family violence legal systems.
